It may be considered quite unusual for a fine and applied arts studio to get involved in movies. Nevertheless, it was in the name, and we did so a few years back with an amazingly well received animation short, created by our longtime friend Vladimir Todorov. Once again we go back to the multidisciplinary roots of our collaborative, where arts and crafts merge together. This may be a further expanse of the artspace continuum, which we discuss in our art | philosophy page, taking on the artistic side of entertainment.
There are several film projects below, which range from a promotional music video to a live-action animated film. The most accomplished one so far is FLUTTER (2017), which has won eleven international awards for animation short, including Raindance London 2017. The musical documentary short SLIGHTLY SUPREMATIC (2020) has been part of four international film festivals so far. This is our theory of artspace continuum being brought to life for real. In short, it is our experience, that composition has very similar principles, in either spatial or temporal arts, and detailed specifics, depending again on the particular field. Elements of one art form can easily bridge over to another, including the applied art of architecture, which involves both spatial and temporal components. The fusion or continuum part comes really to live here, as it is vital to create with unity and cohesion. Of course, a fair amount of skill and technique would be involved in all segments of such process. Nevertheless, the result is of unique quality and value. Not to mention enjoyment and longevity, the fun part of the equation. We hope you would enjoy.
